Part of CPC's charge is to "Oversee a task force structure for the accomplishment of specific planning tasks or input" including:

1. Establish task forces to address specific college projects and needs, including the determination of written charges and general composition of the task forces.
2. Monitor and review the work of task forces through status reports from the task force leaders.
3. Where appropriate, monitor the implementation of task force recommendations.

Three Task Forces were established in Fall 2007:
Program Plan/Program Review
Distance Learning
Technology Planning

In addition, the CPC has established three standing committees:
Budget Advisory Committee
Facilities Advisory Committee
Student Success Committee (new April 2008)
